Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our platform.
1. Legal Provider Identification
This website and the ReciboFácil service are owned, operated, and provided by Diogo Soares Mendes, a registered software producer in Portugal. The provider's Portuguese Tax Identification Number (VAT) is PT240090578, and the official contact for support and legal inquiries is [email protected].
2. Service Description
ReciboFácil is a digital Software as a Service (SaaS) platform designed to automate the generation, submission, and management of electronic rent receipts (Category F) in Portugal. The service issues monthly email reminders to landlords, enabling payment verification in one click, and securely transmits receipt details to the Portuguese Tax Authority (Autoridade Tributária - AT) portal to generate and dispatch official tax receipts.
3. Billing & Payments
Billing, invoices, and payment processing are securely handled through Stripe. ReciboFácil offers both recurring monthly subscriptions and one-time pay-as-you-go receipt credit packages. By purchasing a plan, you authorize Stripe to charge your designated payment method for all applicable fees, taxes, and renewals.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
You can cancel your recurring subscription at any time directly through the Billing dashboard. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. Due to the digital nature of the service and instant provisioning of receipt credits, all purchases are non-refundable, except as explicitly required under European Union consumer protection laws.
5. Security & Data Protection
We prioritize the security of your data. All sensitive communications, including credentials for the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT), are encrypted in transit and at rest using the industry-standard symmetric encryption algorithm AES-256-GCM. Our data practices are governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and are detailed in our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge and accept our Privacy Policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
The platform and services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Diogo Soares Mendes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or utility, resulting from: (i) temporary downtime of the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT) webservices, (ii) failure to deliver email notifications, or (iii) user configuration errors.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Portugal.
